Sam & Sam
The Sams had the most GORGEOUS wedding at the Gasparilla Inn in Florida. From the moment I started working on this wedding, it was full steam ahead with the watercolors! From the main venue itself, to the afterparty venue at The Pink Elephant, to all the other important locations included in their custom map, it was non-stop painting (which is my favorite part!)
We really wanted to pull in a lot of the pretty greens and play off of the fun patterns from the Gasparilla Inn for this suite! We explored a lot of options during the design process, including florals, geometric patterns, and watercolor monograms. Ultimately Sam chose a beautiful unique watercolor border for the main invitations and thick stripes on the RSVP card. We went with a solid text monogram that was featured throughout the suite and sprinkled in throughout the wedding day!
As always, the invitation suite started out as nothing more than some sketches. From here sam picked her favorite elements and design concepts and we got stared! Once we got the designs finalized and ready to go, we worked on how we were going to bind the suite together. Originally we were going to have a cane webbing patterned belly band, but we ended up going with a soft vellum wrap and white wax seal featuring their monogram!
